HOLIC -BACK TO PARADISE-

先日、ロンドンで８周年イベントを開催した翌日には、Sonar week のバルセロナでも HOLIC TRAX のレーベルショーケースを Rick Wade、Robert Dietz,、Tuccillo を迎えて開催するなど、勢いが衰える事を知らない Tomoki Tamura 率いるパーティー/レーベル HOLICがWOMBに帰還！
Tomoki Tamura の Open to Last のセットで熱狂的な盛り上がりをみせたバレンタイン以来の開催となる、今回の HOLIC には、日本のハウスシーンの黎明期から自身のレーベル Far East Record を中心にリリースしていたパイオニアの Soichi Terada が Live set で出演する。Soichi Terada は、自身のレーベルから80-90年代にリリースし、Paradise Garage で Larry Levan がプレイしていたという幻の音源集が、今年オランダの名門レーベル Rush Hour から再発されるや、世界中から再び熱い注目を集めている。
さらに80年代のマンハッタンのクラブシーンをバックグランドにもつ、ディープハウスの鬼才 DJ Sprinkles aka Terre Thaemlitz が２人目のゲストとして出演が決定！フィルターとエコー・エフェクトを武器に、それらを自由自在に使い、フィルターでサウンドのエッジを丸めたり、エコーによってドリーミーな効果を演出する彼の異才を放つミックス・スタイルは必見。
VIP Lounge では、日本のハウスレジェンド Toshiyuki Goto をゲストに迎えて、You Forgot が主宰する Ugly が開催される。新旧のハウスからジャズ、ディスコ、レアグルーヴまでが飛び交う、Oath の名物ハウスパーティーがホストを務める。Womb Lounge や Middle Lounge にも、HOLIC と縁のあるアーティストが大集合。
Back to Paradise と銘打ったタイトルに相応しい、真夏の夜の希少なパーティーとなる事間違いなし。

The tireless Tomoki Tamura, who just held an eight-year anniversary event in London then appeared at Sonar Week, Barcelona the next day, showcasing Rick Wade, Robert Dietz, and Tuccillo on his HOLIC TRAX label, is returning to WOMB to lead the party/label HOLIC!
This edition of HOLIC will be Tomoki Tamura's first event since his Open to Last set which created a frenzy of excitement on Valentine's Day. It will feature a live set by pioneer artist Soichi Terada who has released many records, with a focus on Far East Record (his own label), since the dawn of Japan's house scene.
Around the '80s and '90s, Soichi Terada released Larry Levan playing at Paradise Garage on his own label. This phantasmagorical collection of sound was re-released this year on the illustrious Dutch label Rush Hour and is getting enthusiastic attention worldwide all over again.
The second guest for the night has also been decided: Sprinkles aka Terre Thaemlitz! A genius deep house DJ with a background in the 1980s Manhattan club scene, Sprinkles aka Terre Thaemlitz is armed with filter and echo effects, which he uses with complete mastery. His mixing style reveals his genius, in the way he softens the edge on sounds with his filters or creates dreamy effects using the echo. It's a must see act.
In the VIP Lounge, Japanese house resident artist Toshiyuki Goto will be our guest and we'll be holding Ugly, presided over by You Forgot. Oath's specialty house party will serve as the host and the space will be abuzz with old and new house, jazz, disco, and rare groove. There will be a grand assembly of HOLIC-related artists in both Womb Lounge and the Middle Lounge as well.
Just as you would expect with a title like Back to Paradise, this is destined to be a rare midsummer night's party!
