電気グルーヴ / 石野卓球レジデントパーティー STERNE (シュテルネ) が金字塔となる15周年のアニバーサリーパーティーを開催する。
石野卓球の盟友としても知られる、ドイツの国民的な人気 DJ、WESTBAM が何とシュテルネ5周年のパーティー以来、10年ぶりに帰還。常にトップ DJ であり、ヒット曲を生み出す DJ カルチャーのパイオニアとして過去30年以上にも渡り1500万人ものオーディエンスを楽しませてきた WESTBAM は世界の音楽シーンにおいて生きる伝説といってもいいだろう。
常にシーンをリードしてきた彼は、1983年から DJ 活動を始め、ドイツ人 DJ として初めてアシッドハウス全盛期だったイギリスへ招待されパフォーマンスを行ったり、リミキサーとして200万枚のレコード売上を記録したり、オリンピックでもプレイするなどトップ DJ として活躍してきた。現在もドイツ、ヨーロッパ、ロシア、日本など世界中の有名フェスティバルにてプレイしている。
また昨年の年末"夜の力──ウエストバム自伝" をリリース。今後もシーンの重鎮として活躍が期待される。

Also known as one of Takkyu Ishino's closest friends, WESTBAM, the German DJ with a nationwide popularity, has returned after 10 long years, after his performance for STERNE's 5th anniversary. Having entertained over a total of 15 million audiences during his career, WESTBAM is a living legend in the music scene, who has been a top performer and a pioneer in the world's DJ culture with numerous hit tracks.
Leading German club scene, WESTBAM started his DJ career in 1983. He was also the first German DJ to be invited to perform in England while acid house music was largely popular. Scoring over 2 million in record sales, he has even performed in the Olympics. Lately, he has been performing actively in various festivals in Germany, Europe, Russia, Japan, and more. Towards the end of last year, he released "Die Macht der Nacht (The power of night)--Westbam's autobiography". We are highly anxious to see the new works by this musical colossus.
