Ravers! After a little winter hibernation House Not House are back with our first party of 2017. On Saturday 4th of February, we could not be more excited to be hosting the main room at Circus Tokyo for Circus presents: House Not House.

When Circus’ management got in touch to ask if we’d like to host the debut event in a new series of ‘Circus presents’ Saturday night parties, we didn’t have to think hard about it before answering YES! Circus is one of Tokyo’s leading underground club spaces with one of the best sound systems in the country and a constantly on point booking schedule. It holds a special place in our hearts for hosting two of our biggest parties last year when we brought over London’s Audio Rehab and 3 of our own HNH artists.

For Circus presents: House Not House we decided to keep things sweet and simple with 3 of Tokyo’s finest house DJs: HVNS, Andre McLeod and Go and of course, HNH resident DJs Datwun & Frankie Dollar.

HVNS is a badman DJ and producer, with releases on LA’s Dim Mak Records and Tokyo’s very own Dos・ing crew. While his productions abound in synthy psychedelia, his DJ sets range from skippy garage to darkside techno and the latest in underground house.

Andre McLeod is a man about town in the Tokyo club scene. Founder of Upper Ghetto recordings and the legendary Test Press Tuesday parties, we know he’s gonna come with nothing but the grooviest cuts of deep house and disco.

Go is one of the founding members of Shimokitazawa’s Overdose Tech Underground crew and a purveyor in tribal tech house aimed straight at the dancefloor.

And if you don’t know about us, House Not House is a record label and events crew operating out of Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. We aim to support deep tech and UK house music in Japan, while bringing Japanese artists to a UK audience. Our house is house music with edge; strange house, dark house, house with evil basslines, spaceship noises and sexy grooves for the shuffling massive. It's house, but not house, feel me?

2月4日、渋谷CircusにてHouse Not Houseを開催いたします。
イギリス現地と時差なく最先端なUKテックハウスが聞けるという、東京においては珍しい企画。

クラシックなハウスから、現地のクラブを今盛り上げているアンセムまで、四つ打ちを幅広くプレイ。パーティーだけではなく、ハウスが大好き、踊るのが大好きなパリピポが集まり最高に楽しい時間を過ごすスペースでありたい。レーバーのために、レーバーが実現するパーティー。つまり、Tech house for the Tokyo Massive。

今回のゲストは三名。

東京で活躍している人気トラックメーカー・DJ、HVNS。

青山Tunnelなどで朝までフロアーを沸かせるDeep Houseトラックメーカー・DJ、Andre Mcleod。

そして下北沢を拠点とするOverdose Tech Undergroundから、Go。

House Not HouseのDatwunとFrankie $も、未発表満載の最先端なテックハウスやDeep Techをお送りします。
