LiLiTH “THE PARTY!!!#30” feat. ART DEPARTMENT

新生 ART DEPARTMENT、4年ぶりに来日決定！
Crosstown Rebels から発表したデビュー曲 “Without You” が、オンライン・ミュージックストア beatport と、世界的に威厳ある2つの音楽メディア Resident Advisor と Groove Mag にて “Track of the Year 2011” を獲得。さらに翌年発表した 1st アルバム” The Drawing Board”が iTunes の “Best Electronic Album 2011” にて2位に選ばれる。まさに彗星のようにシーンに現れた ART DEPARTMENT。年間ランキングでは、Mixmag で過去最高2位(2012)。Resident Advisor の RA:pool では初登場6位(2011)を記録。
これまでに自身のレーベル No.19 より”The Drawing Board”と”NATURAL SELECTION”(2015)の2枚のアルバムを発表し、ミックス作品としては、“Fabric 82.(2015)”と“BPM001 MIXED BY ART DEPARTMENT(2013)”を監修してきた。
2015年、Kenny Glasgow が脱退。新編成になりダブテクノに特化した新レーベル Social Experiment を設立。
最高峰のロックフェス Coachella を始め、デトロイトの DEMF、マイアミの Ultra Music Festival、ラスベガスの EDC 、メキシコの The BPM Festival や UK の Global gathering など、世界的ビッグフェスティバルに出演し、年間160本以上のギグをこなす多忙極まりないスーパースターが4年ぶりに LiLiTH に還ってくる。しかも、SASHA と John Digweed による ”Renaissance”の名門ミックスシリーズ “Renaissance: The Mix Collection” を引っ提げて来日する。

It's finally set that the revived ART DEPARTMENT will be in Japan for the first time in 4 years!
The breakout hit, "Without You," released by Crosstown Rebels won "Track of the Year 2011" from the online music store, beatport, and from 2 internationally renowned music media, Resident Advisor and Groove Mag. On top of that, the debut album, "The Drawing Board," released in the following year was ranked #2 in iTunes' "Best Electronic Album 2011". ART DEPARTMENT literally burst onto the scene overnight. In the annual ranking by Mixmag, a personal record of #2 (2012) was reached. The debut appearance in Resident Advisor's RA:pool attained #6 (2011).
By now, this act has released 2 albums, "The Drawing Board" and "NATURAL SELECTION" (2015), from its own label, No. 19, and directed the mixes, “Fabric 82.(2015)” and “BPM001 MIXED BY ART DEPARTMENT(2013)".
Kenny Glasgow's departure in 2015 led to a new team and the establishment of a new label, Social Experiment, specializing in dub techno.
From the top rock festival, Coachella, to appearances at large international festivals such as Detroit's DEMF, Miami's Ultra Music Festival, Las Vegas' EDC, Mexico's The BPM Festival, and UK's Global gathering, etc., this superstar with a hectic schedule of 160 gigs a year returns to LiLiTH for the first time in 4 years. What's more, this return to Japan is accompanied by "Renaissance: The Mix Collection" from the famous mix series "Renaissance" by SASHA and John Digweed.
