THE YES

今年2回目の開催となる、大沢伸一 WOMB レジデント PARTY "THE YES”。今回のスペシャルゲストは、EROL ALKAN、BOYS NOIZE、PARA ONE、BRODINSKI などといった海外のトップ・アーティストが、今、最も注目しているアーティストの1人だと名を挙げる JIMMY EDGAR が登場!!! デトロイト出身で現在ベルリン在住の JIMMY EDGAR (ジミー・エドガー / 31歳)は、10代の頃から音楽活動を始め、15歳の頃には、すでにデトロイト・テクノのトップ・アーティストの JUAN ATKINS、CARL CRAIG、DERRICK MAY、KEVIN SAUNDERSON などとも共演。また、18歳にして"期待の新人"として名門レーベルの WARP と契約し、20代をファンクやヒップ・ホップ要素を注入したエレクトロ・ミュージックに専念し、数々のリリースを経て、世界中をツアーするアーティストとなった。久しぶりの待望の来日となる。また今回は、レジデントでもある MASATOSHI UEMURA が欠席の為、東京を代表する女性アーティスト ELLI ROSE の出演も決定。9年目を迎える THE YES 、今回も豪華なラインナップでの開催となる。

Held for the second time this year, Shinichi Osawa WOMB RESIDENT PARTY "THE YES". Top international artists such as EROL ALKAN, BOYS NOIZE, PARA ONE, BRODINSKI and top artist currently in focus, JIMMY EDGAR, will all make an appearance in this party! Born in Detroit but currently residing in Berlin, JIMMY EDGAR (31 years old) started out his music career when he was still a teenager and has performed together with top artists of Detroit Techno such as JUAN ATKINS, CARL CRAIG, DERRICK MAY, KEVIN SAUNDERSON when he was around 15. In addition, he signed a contract with prestigious label WARP as an "anticipated newcomer" when he was 18 and was devoted in injecting funk and hip-hop elements into electronic music in his 20s. He has since released many works and conducted tours around the world. It will be a long-awaited visit to Japan after a long time. Also this time round, female artist ELLI ROSE representing Tokyo is slated to make a performance in replacement of Resident MASATOSHI UEMURA who will be absent this time round. Held for the 9th time running, THE YES is expected to hold a luxurious lineup this time round too.
