10 YEARS OF MULE MUSIQ -ENDLESS FLIGHT-

2004年、ヨーロッパでプロダクション/ディストリビューションを行い日本へは逆輸入として入って来るというこれまでに無かったスタイルでスタート。幾つかのフロアヒットを経て複数のメディアでベストレーベルに選ばれ、"日本で生まれた初めての偉大なレーベル"とも称された。
エレクトリックミュージックのあらゆる面にフォーカスし、これまでに 300 タイトルを超す作品をリリースして来た MULE MUSIQ も早10年。

そして時を同じくして、2002年に MOODMUSIC からデビューし今年で初来日からちょうど10年を迎える HENRIK SCHWARZ 。
たしか DMR で購入した彼のデビューシングルは MARVIN GAY の I WANT YOU を巧みにサンプリングしたクールなディープハウスだった。
その頃、BODY & SOUL に代表される様な名ばかりの DEEP HOUSE に辟易していたが、彼の音楽はヨーロッパのクールさを持ちつつ NY ハウスが持つエモーショナルな感覚も持ち合わせていて、きっとこのアーティストは凄いアーティストになるだろうと強く思ったのを今でも覚えている。

台風まっただ中で行われた初来日、フランソワの DEEP SPACE 、メタモルフォーゼでの CRITICAL MASS としてのライブ、昨年の築地本願寺で行われたオーケストラセットと、沢山の記憶に残るライブを行って来た HENRIK SCHWARZ が自身と MULE MUSIQ の 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY スペシャルロングセットを披露する。

Started in 2004, with a brand new concept of first producing/distributing shows in Europe and then importing them back to Japan, it produced several floor hits and was chosen as best label by several media outlets and has been dubbed "the first great label to come out of Japan."
MULE MUSIQ celebrates 10 years with over 300 titles released under its name, focusing on a diverse range of electronic music.

At the same time, HENRIK SCHWARZ who debuted from MOODMUSIC in 2002 celebrates 10 years since his first performance in Japan.
His debut single purchased from DMR was a cool deep house with some clever sampling of MARVIN GAYE's "I WANT YOU."
In those days, I was weary of the kind of DEEP HOUSE typical of BODY & SOUL, but his music possessed the coolness of Europe as well as the emotional feel of NY House and I still remember thinking he will be an incredible artist some day.

The first Japan performance in the midst of a typhoon, Francois' DEEP SPACE, the set at Metamorphose as CRITICAL MASS, and the orchestra set performed at Tsukiji Hongan-ji, HENRIK SCHWARZ who has presented countless memorable shows will be celebrating his, as well MULE MUSIQ's 10 year anniversary with a special long set.
