Zephyr feat. Philogresz

西洋から豪華ゲストを召喚し、よりハードコアなDeeptech&Progressiveサウンドをお届けする”Zephyr”「西からの神風」に由来するイベント名に相応しく、今回はデビューアルバム『THE LOST MOVIE』を引っ提げ、オランダ出身の敏腕プロデューサー、Philogreszが初来日。国内実力派アーティスト、SEKITOVAのゲスト出演に加え、バレンタインならではのスペシャルコンテンツにも注目して欲しい。

EchocordやWare、Electric Deluxe、Treibstoffそして彼自身のもつ珠玉のヴァイナルレーベルPHILなどのリリースの数多くを経て、Philogresz a.k.a Ilker Soyluは有機的に進化する音楽構成と共に、知性のある電子音楽の世界にしっかりと根を張っている。複雑ではあるが、それほど遠くにいるような感覚のないグルーブを持つ彼のLiveそしてDJが安定したレベルでの様々な音楽への多様性とエネルギーを維持し、アーティストとして常に新しい場を探求し続けている。

彼のデヴューアルバムでもある''The Lost Movie''はIlker本人の持つ映画的な見解やアプローチそして彼が常々興味をもっていた、くすんだ構造への解釈のまさしく塊となっている。長い年月を超えても彼のインスピレーションは疲れることを知らず、彼のアルバムはイスタンブール、ロッテルダム、アントワープ、そして彼が今いる現在の旅の最終地点などの異なった街で描かれた事により、全編を通して違った環境や雰囲気を生み出している。

After a multitude of releases on labels like Echocord, Ware, Electric Deluxe,Treibstoff, his vinyl only gem PHIL, Philogresz a.k.a Ilker Soylu is rooted firmly in the intelligent electronic music scene with his organic evolving musical composition. Complex, but not too far from straightforward grooves blend in smoothly in his live & dj set; keeping the diversity and energy on the steady level. Still, the artist explores new grounds over and over again.

His debut album - The Lost Movie is an outcome of Ilker's cinematic perception, approach, interpretation of his constantly intriguing dusty compositions. As a result of his tiring yet inspirational shift over the years, LP has been written in different cities like Istanbul, Rotterdam, Antwerp and the current final stop: Amsterdam - different surroundings & moods.
