危険なアンダーグラウンド・マッシュアップシリーズや、Paul McCartney、Kylie Minogue 等のリエディットで一躍その名を世に知らしめ、"Rekid"名義のシングルがクロスオーヴァー・ヒットしたことで一気に世界のトップ・プロデューサー入りを果たしたレディオ・スレイヴ。現在、名実共にテックハウス系の頂点に君臨するプロデューサー/アーティストだ。その名声を決定づけた「No Sleep」シリーズでは、ジャズ、サイケデリック～トライバル・サウンドをミニマルビートで串刺し、また"Quiet Village"名義では、レイドバックしたバレアリック・フィーリングを演出。実に振れ幅の広いアウトプットでコアな音楽ファンを魅了してきた奇才である。制作面では、全世界で1万枚以上を売り上げた'Grindhouse'をはじめ、オリジナルトラックは軒並みヒットチャートにランクイン。「Cabin Fever」シリーズも好評を博し、伝説のテクノレーベル＜R&S＞10年振りの復活第１弾にも抜擢される。Harvey 関連のリリースで話題沸騰のレーベル International Feel からは、Joel Martin との新プロジェクト"Maxxi & Zeus"で珠玉のアンビエント・トラックをリリース。自身が主宰する Rekids のサブレーベル Pyramids of Mars も立ち上げ、"The Machine"名義でアルバム『Red Head』もドロップ。Innervisions からリリースされた先行シングルはリミキサーにAmeとDixonを起用し、エレクトロニックミュージックのさらなるポテンシャルを提示した。さらには、アングラ・ディスコに特化した新レーベル I-Taro をローンチして、"DJ Maxxi"名義でアーリー80'sのイタロ・ディスコを再構築＆ミックスするなど、ジャンルの壁を越えて多方面で活躍している。アーティストとしては、ベルリン Berghain/Panorama bar、ロンドン Fabric をはじめ、マイアミ、イビサ、北米、南米、欧州、ロシア、アジアなど世界中を駆け巡り、ここ日本でも、「WIRE」「FREAKS」「RDC」「HACIENDA」など毎年ビッグフェスに出演。その人気と実力は衰えることを知らない。

From his dangerous underground mash-up series, suddenly rising to fame with his edits of Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, and others, Radio Slave shot instantly to a top position among producers as his singles under his "Rekid" monicker proved themselves to be cross-over hits. Currently, in both name and substance he reigns as the top tech-house producer and artist.  The "No Sleep" series, which earned him that reputation, skewers bits of jazz, psychedelic, and tribal sounds along a minimal beat.  Additionally, under the artist name "Quiet Village," he also produces works with a laid-back, Balearic feeling. His true genius shows in his ability to mesmerize even the most hard-core music fans across a wide amplitude of musical output.  On the production front, starting with his 10,000+ selling "Grindhouse," his original tracks have subsequently found themselves ranking in on the hit charts.  With the popularity of his "Cabin Fever" series, it became the first work promoted by legendary techno label R&S in over 10 years. In connection with Harvey, from the much-talked-about label International Feel comes the release of more ambient-sounding gems from his new project with Joel Martin "Maxxi & Zeus." Having also established Pyramids of Mars, a sub-label under Rekids, he dropped the album "Red Head" under the artist name The Machine.  For his leading single released from Innervisions, he appointed Ame and Dixon as remixers, further exhibiting even more potential within electronic music.  Also, under the DJ Maxxi name he reconstructs and mixes early-80's Italo-disco sounds among other activities, breaching the walls between genres.  As an artist his bookings have taken him across the world including to locations such as Berlin's Berghain/Panorama Bar, London's Fabric, as well as to venues across Miami, Ibiza, North and South America, Europe, Russia, and Asia.  Here in Japan, every year he plays at big festivals such as WIRE, RDC, FREAKS, and HACIENDA.  His popularity and true strength as an artist know no weaknesses.
