多角的視点からのテクノ／ハウスミュージックを軸とし、彼ならではのテクニックとスタイルで独自の世界を創りあげるDJ／トラックメーカー。
2006年4月にはファーストアルバム「Metal Heart」をリリース。さまざまなダンスミュージックを完全網羅した内容で、各方面から注目を集めた。その後、3枚のEPを”Zenit”より立て続けにリリース。2007年7月にはセ カンドアルバム「Dual」を発売。2008年には自身のデジタルレーベル「No:More Rec」から、日本人クリエーター総勢14名によるリミックスアルバム「The:remix」をリリース。アルバムリリースツアーをベルリンで行い成功を収めた。その後カナダの”Archipel Musique”からリリースされた「Now Is The Time」がLaurent Garnier、Luciano、Mathias Kaden、Nick Curly、Glimpse等にプレイ＆サポートされ注目を集め、2009年6月には北米ツアーを敢行。2010年4月にリ リースした12インチシングル「One Time」では、重心の低いテクノトラックを展開。さらに深化したサウンドデザインとクオリティで、一線を画す存在感を示している。
現在は新レーベル”ARPA records”を立ち上げ、2011年からワールドワイドリリース（アナログ＆デジタル）及び、レーベル主催のパーティーが始動する。

90年代後半にDJとしてのキャリアをスタート。6年半におよぶヨーロッパでの活動を経て、2010年初頭に日本へ拠点を移す。ソリッドな質感をともなった精緻なグルーヴを削り出す独自のトラックメイクを確立する一方、ハウスからディスコ、テクノまで音楽そのものの自由度を解放するスタイルが際立つDJ/トラックメイカー。また、盟友Mark HenningとのコラボレーションEPがケルンTrapezからリリース されるほか、CocoonやMixmagなど海外の複数 のレーベルのMIX CDに トラックを提供するなど、今後さらなる活動の広がりに期待が集まる。

数多くのイベントがひしめき合うここ東京、その渦の中でWE HERE NOW は２０１２年、スタートした。

シカゴハウスならぬ、東京ならではの音楽性ーー
アーティストらが世代を超えて、エレクトロニック・ミュージックのクリエイティビティやアイディアを共有し、一つの東京発のジャンルの方向性を築いて行きたい、という熱い想いがある。そのために、ゲストは国内外のレーベルで活躍するトラックメーカーのLIVE Actを中心に常時セレクト。

今回はWE HERE NOW ▽ Spring Series最終回。DJにはDenを招聘、６年にも及ぶヨーロッパでの生活の末に現在は東京に拠点を移す。現在はWarehouse702のマンスリーイベントFunktaxiのレジデントもつとめている。Soma / Trapez / op.disc などのレーベルよりリリースを重ね、今年２月にはドイツGolden Pudel ClubやFarbfernseherにてツアーを行う。世界にその才能を認められた日本人DJである。

そして、シークレットとされていた最後のゲストには国内随一のクオリティを誇るレーベルARPA records主宰DJ Sodeyama。今回は自身の楽曲だけを使用したWE HERE NOWだけの特別なセットを披露してくれる。彼の持ちうる全てのセンスを堪能してほしい。

WE HERE NOWは平均年齢２２歳の３人のDJ/オーガナイザークルーが中心。オランダ・ロッテルダムで留学の傍ら数多くのオー プンエアーパーティーやクラブイベントを手がけてきたChris Akira。そして、若干１６歳の時にWIRE 06でJeff Millsのプレイを目の当たりにしアンダーグラウンドの世界に目覚めDJを開始、週末はレコード収集に明け暮れる生活を送ってきた、DJ Tomo。そしてこの２人を支えるのは、ロンドンのパーティーシーンを引率するsecretsundazeのオーガナイズに携わり、イギリスを拠点に数々の良質なパーティーを映像におさめ続け、The Secret Agencyの一員としてChez DamierやDelano Smithなどのエージェントをもつとめるなど異色の経歴をもつ、Kojun Shimoyama。

厳選された音楽を想いを込めてプレイするアーティスト達の音楽を聞いて、WE HERE NOWが考える東京の”今”を感じてほしい。

With dozens of underground events making up Tokyo's nightlife featuring big names from all over the world, WE HERE NOW seeks to set itself apart, creating a place to truly assert individuality.

Truly Tokyo sound--
By combining the ideas, creativity or vision of the artists beyond generation, we want to create a genre to come out of Tokyo, focusing on live performances and sound creators as our line up.

Last of our Spring Series, we have Den from Soma / Trapez /op.disc coming over to hit the floor. After spending 6 years in Europe, now he based himself in Tokyo. As a resident DJ, Funktaxi at Warehouse702 is his home party.

The head of Arpa records, DJ Sodeyama is the secret guest. And here is the surprise, he will only DJ with his very own production. He has been producing more than 6 years now, we are sure that he has plenty of stock.

One of the event organisers and residents of WE HERE NOW is Chris Akira. He grew up in Tokyo and later moved to Europe, after a few years he started hosting underground club events and open airs in Rotterdam/NL and Paris/FR. DJ Tomo is also the organiser and resident for the event, who has spent all weekend digging music in record shops since the age of 16, ever since he head Jeff Mills Rock the floor at WIRE 06. Lastly Kojun Shimoyama will complete the triangle. Having spent several years in London, he was a part of secretsundaze and its sister agency, The Secret Agency. And video shooting for some of the best clubs events about as selective pressure +.
