INTERSECTION

記憶に新しいラリーカールソンの日本初エキシビジョンや有名サウンドアーティストを招集し独自の観点でイベントを構築し続けてきたGallekikakuが２周年を迎えることとなった。
今回は２周年のアニバーサリーと言う事もあり、コミュニティーに特化し"交差点"をテーマにイベントを発表する。
今回の注目企画は１９９２年に「巨大都市の原生」東京大阪行為芸術から約21年の時を経て、参加した舞踏家/石井満隆の最後の弟子である中西晶大と、当時の共演者である音楽家/灰野敬二による、時代と世代を超えた即興芸術”思想の交叉点”を行う。灰野敬二、中西晶大をはじめmoph recordsのmergrimやサウンドアーティスト杉本慶一によるユニットFilFulaなどのドラマーをつとめる松本一哉、近年話題の芸術家、念形師家元こと須永健太郎、そして映像作品やメディアアートなど幅広い分野で作品を生み出すSohei Takimiによる即興芸術を発表する。
サウンドアートもNYのアンビエントレーベル１２Kよりmoskitoo、名古屋の奇才fredricsonをはじめ豪華出演陣で御送りするGallekikaku Exhibition "INTERSECTION"お見逃し無く！！

内容
先鋭的な音楽家・DJ・舞踏家たちと、立体作品や映像作品、メディア芸術等を一つの空間に同居させ、それぞれが持つ性質や思想、表現される感情や幻想を並置に混ざり合わせた不可思議で異質な空間を存在させた音楽イベントである。

趣旨
音楽イベントは芸術の表現技法の一つである。
エンターテイメントと芸術の境界を消滅させ、新しい体験空間の構成を認識させる事を目的とする。

Gallekikaku
アート、デザイン、サウンド、実験などの様々な要素を交流/コラボレーションすることで、高密度な空間と新しい可能性を生みだす。その中に集まった多分野の専門家 / コレクターが、作家の視点やGalle本位な解釈に基き、現代芸術と社会がどう関わっていくべきなのかを構築/提案をしていく。

『思想の交叉点』
思想の交叉点とは、舞踏、パフォーマンス、サウンドアート、メディアアートなど広範な分野に及んだアーティスト5名による即興パフォーマンスである。思想の交叉点をテーマに、それぞれの持つ豊かな多様性と、心理の内の無意識な部分の表現が同時に影響を与え交ざり合う、思想のアンサンブルである。

Making cutting edge musicians, DJ's and choreographers co-exist in a single space with three dimensional works, video works and media art, juxtaposing their different natures and the illusions they create, mixing them all up in one music event, bringing to life a mysterious heterogeneous space.
A music event is but one of art's many outlets. Taking down the boundaries between art and entertainment, our goal is to reconfigure space as an experiential environment.

Gallekikaku:
We create new possibilities for exchanges and collaborations resulting in experiments with sound, design and art. We encourage the creators and collectors from various fields that we gather to express their views on how contemporary art and society should interact.

■Special project■
[Primitives of the metropolis] The last apprentice of legendary dancer Ishii Mitsutaka, Nakanishi Masahiro and his co-star during this project, musician Keiji Haino will perform something they call "intersection of thought" in an improvisation that goes beyond generation and age.

"Intersection of thought"

Intersection of thought is a performance that features five artists working in different fields: dance, performance, media art and sound art. They bring a diverse set of influences to the theme "intersection of thought" which will be the expression of the unconscious minds of the ensemble.
