ハンガリー出身。Dubの聖地UK・ブリストルを拠点に活躍するダブステップ／グライ
ム／ドラムンベースのプロデューサー/ アーティスト。UKのプロデューサー
「Breakage」の『Someone』のremixによって その名を轟かせたDJ Maddは、2008年に
最初のリリース『Numbers』や「Von D」とのコラボレートをBoka Recordsよりリリー
スした事で、一躍Boka Recordsの誇る看板となる。その後も、Dubstepの名門レーベル
Tube10、Black Box、Subway Recordings などからヒットを連発、近年は、
Reggae～Dubのリフィックスで大ヒットしている Warシリーズや、Moonshine
Recordingsより 『Horace Andy - Cuss Cuss』、自身のレーベル Roots & Future を
立ち上げるなど精力的にリリースし話題になっている。また「RSD」「Kryptic Minds」
「Kahn」「N-Type」「TMSV」などをリリースするUK・ブリストルの雄 Black Box の
Official Mix CD（Transmissions Vol. 1 by DJ Madd )を担当、Outlook Festival、
Caspa&Dub Policeの infamous at Fabricへの出演、Rinse FM、BBC Radioのレギュラー
DJとしても活躍するなどこのシーンのホープとしてここ日本でも多くのファンを獲得

Hungarian-born producer DJ Madd is widely recognised in the dubstep scene;
highly acclaimed for his WAR series of white label releases, he's been
championed by industry stalwarts including Youngsta and released tunes on
labels Black Box, Osiris and Wheel & Deal. The Bristol-based DJ, also known
as Peter Simon, can be found at venues across Europe, including at Caspa's
infamous Dub Police event, and is regularly played on Rinse FM and BBC
Radio.
Madd's musical output is now reaching back to the reggae-influenced dubstep
sound, building up a diverse following who love the old school dubwise
sounds with bone-shaking bass and the low end of the sonic spectrum. This
fusion is the main focus of his label, Roots & Future, which just launched
earlier this year scoring recent support by the mighty David Rodigan.
