昭和、平成、ゆとり世代。めまぐるしい変化の中であらゆる要素を吸収して来た88年生まれの表現者達。それ故、88s からは多種多様な表現が生まれる。
今回は、プロデュースや楽曲提供などで活躍中の KEN ARAI をゲストに迎えての開催となる。西野カナ、KAT-TUN、野宮真貴、Lisa、Double、Ryohei、moumoon、リア・ディゾン、MAX、Olivia Ong、Cover Lover Project 等、数々のプロデュース、プログラミング、アレンジ、REMIX、楽曲提供等で関わるトッププロデューサーであり、また、大ヒットしたフジTVドラマ「鍵のかかった部屋」「LAST HOPE」に引き続き、今年1月スタート月9ドラマ「失恋ショコラティエ」のサウンドトラックも担当。自身主宰のレーベル Addicted Tokyo からリリースしている a la i.名義による作品は常に各国のチャートでトップ10入りを果たし 6th EP "Hands Up e.p."もスマッシュヒットを記録。
今年デビュー11周年を迎え、現在はアルバム制作と並行し CM やドラマ音楽を手がけるなど多岐に渡るプロデュースワークでその才能を発揮している。

Having lived through and absorbed from the rapidly changing times of the "Showa", "Heisei", and "Yutori" generation of Japan, expressionists born in 1988 (the double eights) are responsible for launching a range of diverse, multifaceted sounds. We welcome KEN ARAI as our special guest, a top producer known for producing, arranging, remixing, and writing music for Kana Nishino, KAT-TUN, Maki Nomiya, Lisa, Double, Ryohei, moumoon, Leah Dizon, MAX, Olivia Ong, Cover Lover Project, among others. Following his work on popular Fuji Television Network dramas, "Kagi no Kakatta Heya" and "LAST HOPE", he will be composing the soundtrack for this season's "Shitsuren Chocolatier", airing on Monday nights at nine p.m. beginning January. Self-releases from his own label, Addicted Tokyo, under the artist name "a la i." consistently appear in Top 10 charts worldwide, and "Hands Up e.p.", his sixth EP, also became a major hit. Now in the 11th year since his debut, he extends his talents across various productions, from commercials to dramas, in tandem with his album-work. Also performing is pastry chef U NGSM, whose special confectionary will be available on a first come, first serve basis in celebration of February's hallmark event, Valentine's Day.
