WOMB 最長マンスリーレジデントパーティーとして、怒涛の最速 BPM で躍進を続ける、アジアを代表するドラムンベースパーティー 06S が、記念すべき16周年を迎える。スペシャルゲストには、もはや説明無用なジャンルの壁を越えて大きな支持を集める Pendulum が DJ Set で Mc Verse と約3年ぶりに登場!! オーストラリアのパースから誕生した Pendulum はドラムンベース、ブレイクビーツ、ハードコアメタルやパンクなど多岐に渡るジャンルにルーツを持つ。その誰にも止められない才能は世界中のドラムンベースシーンを魅了し、席巻している。モンスターエレクトロニックバンド Pendulum は、2007年にデビューし、2011年に活動を休止。その間もメンバーである Rob Swire と Gareth McGrillen が EDM ユニット Knife Party を結成したりと話題を呼んでいたが、昨年開催されたマイアミでの Ultra Music Festival 2016 でファン待望の復活を発表。2017年より活動を再開している。今年の5月にはアルバムのリリースも控える彼らは全世界中から熱い注目を集めている。

“06S,” the longest running monthly resident party at Womb and a leading drum and bass party in Asia, continues to make headway with a raging fast BPM, and is approaching a 16th anniversary that deserves celebration. The genre eclipsing and massively popular band Pendulum, who need no introduction at this point, will appear as a special guest and play a DJ set, making their first appearance with Mc Verse in three years! Born and bred in Perth, Australia, Pendulum has roots in a variety of genres, ranging over drum and bass, break beats, hardcore metal, and punk. They’ve been conquering the globe, enrapturing drum and bass scenes all around the world with their unparalleled brilliance. The monster electronic group made their debut in 2007 before suspending their activities as a band in 2011. In the interim, members Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen became the topic of much conversation when they formed the EDM unit Knife Party, but at the Ultra Music Festival 2016 held last year in Miami they announced Pendulum’s long awaited resurrection. The band resumed activity in 2017. Holding off on their album release until May this year, they've been getting an intense amount of attention from all over the globe. DJ AKi has been on the attack, and has been selected as the first Japanese person to appear in “Let It Roll,” an absolute top class drum and bass festival that's held in the Czech Republic! It’s definitely a given that sub-residents Ymasa and Yasuki will also be there, playing sets and balancing things out.
