ドラムンベース好きはもちろん、Bass Music シーンからも熱い注目を集める WOMB の最長レジデント・マンスリーパーティー 06S。15年を経過した現在も最速 BPM からなるビートの疾走感と、地を這う極太のベースサウンドは健在で、06S ならではのハッピーバイブは根強い人気を誇る唯一無二なパーティーだ。3月第1土曜日のスペシャルゲストは、2017年2月にリリースされた”Electric” が beatport チャート第1位に輝き、現在最も勢いがある人気ディオ The Prototypes が3度目の来日を果たす!! イギリス出身の彼等は、突如ドラムンベース界の新星アーティストとして現れ、瞬く間にトップアーティストへと上り詰めた。そのフレッシュで独自のメロディー感とソリッドなベースは、刺激的かつシーンをリードするサウンドで、Shogun Audio、Viper Recordings とトップレーベルを渡り歩き、現在は自身のレーベル Get Hype Records を中心に活動している。アクセル全開の完全大箱対応のサウンドがトレードマークの The Prototypes は、Andy C、Friction、Sub Focus、Fresh、Pendulum 等、様々なトップアーティスト達から熱いサポートを集めている。また、2011年に発表した”Born To Rise” EP のタイトルトラックは世界中のレイブでプレイされ、アンセムである 140BPM の Old School Rave Msh-Up ”Taking Me Over” は、Zane Lowe と Annie Nighttingle によって BBC Radio でヘビーローテーションされ、その類い稀な才能は余す事なく証明した。そして、Snoop Dogg、Ed Sheeran、Avicii & Sebastien、Modstep といったたジャンルの大物アーティストのリミックスを手がけた。迎え撃つ日本を代表するドラムンベース DJ であるレジデントの DJ AKi は、15年以上に渡って毎回海外からのアーティストと競演を繰り広げ、世界基準の DJ セットに定評がある人気 DJ である。そして、40回以上に渡って 06S に出演するサブレジデントの Ymasa、また若手日本人プロデューサー達が立ち上げたレーベル Subdued Records から TLOC(Yuki Azumai) と Badmyth が B2B で出演。4F VIP LOUNGE ラウンジには Bass music の Trigger クルーと、今回も見逃せない内容になっている。

06S is WOMB's longest running monthly resident party, a mecca for Drum&Bass lovers and center for the Bass Music scene. The first Saturday in March features special guests The Prototypes in their third visit to Japan. The UK duo are riding a wave of popularity after their February 2017 release "Electric" took the beatport chart's number one spot. In just a blink of an eye the pair have gone supernova, rising to the top as major new artists in the Drum&Bass world. Their stimulating sound - with a fresh, original sense of melody and solid bass - is leading the scene, as they hop between top labels Shogun Audio and Viper Recordings, and their own current label Get Hype Records. The Prototypes' trademark full throttle big room vibes are supported by, among others, top artists Andy C, Friction, Sub Focus, Fresh and Pendulum. Representing Japan will be DJ AKi, WOMB's popular resident Drum&Bass DJ with a reputation for world class sets, who's been battling it out with overseas artists for over 15 years. Also on stage will be Ymasa, with more than forty appearances at 06S under his belt. From Subdued Records, a label kickstarted by up and coming Japanese producers, artists TLOC (Yuki Azumai) and Badmyth will take the stage for a B2B set. Also don't miss Bass Music's Trigger Crew in the VIP LOUNGE.
