Serie Limitee Records
2013年、ロンドンを拠点に活動するMonsieur Cedricと、朋友のSteve Frisco、そしてバンドJunesexのリーダーGreg Ermanにより設立された、ヴァイナルオンリーのリリースを行なうレーベル。
アメリカ、日本、ヨーロッパ、ロシア等、さまざまな国のアーティストを取り上げた、シカゴハウス、デトロイトテクノを中心とする幅広い音楽性は、サブレーベルHors-Serieと共に設立当初から今日に至るまで高い評価を得ている。
Serie Limite was created in 2013 by London based Monsieur Cedric
with the help of his friends Steve Frisco and Junesex's band leader, Greg Erman.
The idea was to release tracks from friends and new talents on proper wax.
It would be a vinyl-only label, pressed on 180g from a lacquer in limited quantities.
The label would feature music from artists from all around the world
: USA, Japan, Europe, Russia, Serie Limitee doesn't have any border.
The influences are mainly Chicago-house/Detroit-techno but the label doesn't know
any boundaries in terms of music either.
After the succes of the first 3 releases, Cedric decided to launch a sub-label
dedicated to 7" & 10"s called "Hors-Serie". Only 100 copies of SLHS001 were pressed
and the record got sold-out in a week time. It has now been 3 years; SL008 just
came out and SLHS006 is on the way!
