Laboratory × MR. Holiiiic

The previous Lab in May at club METRO was a blast. Thanks to all the party people that came!

The next Lab will be held at Growly on July 26th. Growly is a remodeled warehouse that consists of a live house, studio and cafe, located at the center of the Nijo district. Additonally, another event, "Mr. Holiiic", will be held at the same time at Ko-en Syokudo which is located in the same building.

Therefore you can get crazy to electronic music at Growly or eat, drink, groove and relax at Koen Syokudo. Once you pay at the door you will have access to both events and venues.

Let us briefly introduce three special guest artists that will take the stage at this upcoming Lab -

First, we are pleased to invite Satol, who is currently active in Berlin, Germany and an original member of an electronic music record label “Madberlin” which is based in Madrid and Berlin.
Since 2009 he has had a wide presence in Asia. He was signed on for a second time by Madberlin Label after his first album, "Radically nu breed’s cre8″ in which he mixed dark techno rhythms & textures with some crazy 2step & dubstep arrangement concepts, finding a very unique style.
In 2012 he started his own label called “cold dark” to develop his very own concept of electronic music. In May 2014, he released a long-awaited mini album, “Enhance Cell Survival." He has been touring all around Japan for the last year. His live sets are an artful mix of techno beats and dark textures!

Secondly, we would like to present Tetsuya Yoshida, DJ, long-time event organiser, and owner of his own nightclub “Sound A Base Nest” which is known to have the best sound system in Northern Kanto area. He has collaborated with many top DJs and artists from all over the world. He also produced music as a member of “THRIVE” with Hitoshi Kojima since 2008. Their EP was released by Kaoru Inoue’s record label “SEEDS AND GROUND” in 2010, and was later picked up by labels in Italy, Germany, Serbia and Uruguay. He has recently launched his own label, “Ambivalent Deviation”.

The third guest artist, LIVING DEAD, is a music producer/beat maker from Kyoto.
He has created tracks for Japanese skateboarding films such as TightBooth Production「DIALOGUE BETWEEN INSIDERS」「LENZ」「LENZ2」、GRAPEVINE ASIA「ZERO FLAT THE GA」、Skate Atom「JOURNEY」, clearly showing that his music is strongly supported by the skateboardning community. Also he has created tracks for Japanese rappers, such as "Lionzofzion", "Nargan Server", "Buppon". In 2013, he released his first album "Private Anthem" featuring local Kansai artists.
