【Treavor Moontribe】は 1993年にロサンゼルス郊外にある砂漠のフルムーンパーティー【MOONTRIBE】を始めた。そのパーティー広く知れ渡り、20年以上経った今でも、そのパーティーの人気は衰えない。彼はアメリカで、黎明期から最も長いキャリアを持ちGoa/Psy-TranceのトップDJの一人としての地位を確立している。彼は世界のトップクラスのフェスティバル、ポルトガル【Boom Festival】、ブラジル【Universo Parallelo】、ドイツ【Vuuv Experience】、アメリカ【Symbiosis Gathering】、オーストラリア【Rainbow Serpent Festival や ECLIPSE 2012】、日本【奄美大島日食音楽祭2009】等でDJプレイの経験を持ち、アメリカのネバダ州の砂漠の祭典 【Burning Man Festival】の会場内では、MOONTRIBEクルーを率いて開催する巨大レイヴでもお馴染みである。2008年には北欧プログレッシヴ界の名門レーベル【Iboga Records】からコンピレーションアルバム【Set:9 Desert Selections】をリリース。又、トラックメイカーの顔も持つTreavorは、1998年にMOONTRIBEの5周年記念パーティーで出会って以来の盟友【Amani Friend】とのディオ＝【Desert Dwellers】として数多くのトラック、アルバムをリリースし、サイケデリック・アンビエントの界隈では抜群の知名度を誇り、2014年には【Shpongle】の【Museum of Consciousness】アルバムリリースツアーで、42ヶ所、7週間にも及ぶ全米ツアーに同行し、その存在感を遺憾なく発揮した。他にもエジプト【The Great Convergence Festival】ではピラミッドの前でセットを披露したり、ヨガとダンスミュージックの祭典インドネシア【Bali Spirit Festival】ではヘッドライナーとして招聘される等、ユニークでスピリチュアルな経験とともに、北米大陸のフェスティバルでは100回を越える出演の経歴を持つ。DJとしてのTreavorは、Psy-Progressive Trance、Full On Psy-Trance、Deep Techno、Deep House、Downtempo等を幅広くカバーするDJとして知られ、ロングセットも得意とする彼のプレイは、ときにジャンル間をシームレスに跨ぐ多様性のある世界観により、他のDJにはない独特な存在感を作り上げ、彼を差別化している。その瞬間・空間に絶妙にフィットする彼の音楽を、クラウド達に肌で感じ、堪能してもらいたい。
In 1993 Treavor Moontribe and his friends started throwing full moon parties in the desert outside of Los Angeles. These parties became known as Moontribe and are still going strong today! As some of the first DJs to play Psy/Goa Trance music, Treavor established himself as one of America's top Psy Trance DJs and is now the longest lasting DJ to still play this genre. He has played all over the world and at many of the top festivals including Boom Festival, Universo Parallelo, Vuuv Festival and of course America's famous Burning Man Festival. As a producer Treavor is most known for his Chill Out/Electronic project Desert Dwellers with his partner Amani Friend. This duo has toured the entire world playing at Egypt's iconic Pyramids to doing the opening ceremony at Boom 2014, headlining Bali Spirit Fest and 100's of other festivals across North America. As a DJ Treavor is known to play many genres including Deep Techno, Progressive and Full On Psy Trance, Downtempo and Deep House Music. It is this diversity that sets him apart from most DJs and allows him to play the music that fits the moment perfectly!
