d.silvestreの武器マンデラオは、ブラジルのバイレファンキにおける近年の極端なサブジャンルであり、サンパウロのプライア・グランデ地区で開催される「Baile do Mandela」パーティーに起源を持つ。

Mandelao, the weapon of choice for d.silvestre, is a recent extreme sub-genre within Brazilian baile funk, originating from the “Baile do Mandela” parties held in the Praia Grande area of São Paulo.
By layering a wide range of electronic music influences beneath its trademark roaring, high-pitched sound, d.silvestre has pulled global listeners into his own unforgiving sonic world.

Rather than simply pushing the entire frequency range to its maximum, his use of concentrated, partial attacks and exquisitely drawn-out noise and dissonance creates a kind of pleasure—intoxicating thousands and tens of thousands of audiences across the Americas, including his home country, as well as in major venues throughout Europe.

This party is a collaboration between バイレファンキかけ子(Bailefunki Kakeko)’s label/party TóquioBug and /baile, an event organized by DJ PS2 DESBLOQUEADO. Here, the dominant forces of Bailefunki and Brusharia intersect with contemporary dance music, resulting in an intriguing crossover.

A particular highlight is the appearance of hirihiri, also known as a member of PAS TASTA and 142clawz. Interpreting “destruction is fun,” his characteristic sound-cracking bass promises an electrifying interaction with d.silvestre.

Also set to ignite the floor is the pure exuberance of nomotonootooto, organizer of the new-era party R3FRACT, whose “Brusharia untouched by baile funk” brings a distinct and unfiltered energy.
